4 books to inspire you towards your best unicorn shiny self
I love a good book. And whilst there are a billion to choose from to help you on your journey, I’ve chosen a few of my favourites to whet your appetite.
As we come out of the Easter choc fest hangover, I hope these books will inspire you to hop back onto the finding your inner ninja sparkle train. Spring is here!
All are books I regularly refer back to and recommend to my friends, clients, and colleagues. Not all relate to weight or food specifically; some include copious amounts of swearing.
I make no apology for this.
These golden nuggets of inspiration are all available from Amazon and the images will take you straight there.

: a life exemplified by abundance, happiness, purpose, health, and joy.

Make Your Own Rules Diet
By Tara Stiles
Not a diet book at all. More of a well-rounded, easy philosophy that supports health, movement and wellness. Tara Stiles is the founder of Strala Yoga – a revolutionary approach to guiding your feeling and movement, which gets people radiantly healthy, free, creative, and happy. Tara is, in my view, a pioneering badass Ladyboss, who inspires people to live their best lives with ease and self-care. I love her. I think you will too.
By Thug Kitchen
The Thug Kitchen’s mantra is “Eat like you a give a fuck” and I’m pretty sure that’s the #1 reason everyone needs a copy of this book. The book makes all of the boring, routine learning around “eating healthy” not only a pleasure, but an absolute hoot! Bottom line: You’ve got to find your own personal fuel food – the stuff that’s going to make you stop feeling like shit, according to what your body needs – and this book is a great first step to figuring that out. I regularly gift copies to people, it’s that good! So, if you do nothing else, gift yourself one today. Highly recommended!
Free! Love your work, Love your life
Chris is an author, speaker, and business beatnik. He is the founder of the creative leadership development company Upping Your Elvis and he’s a Brit. What’s not to love? I’ve heard him speak several times and I am always inspired and uplifted by his unique and creative approach to how life and work link. Free! is a simple but powerful read, where Chris shares his belief that life and work are intrinsically linked. If we want to live an extraordinary life, we have to make our work equally extraordinary. I couldn’t agree more.
